Discipline and Grievance Training

Course Overview

Dealing with difficult staff is a problem that most managers must face. It rarely goes away without intervention and often a disciplinary and grievance review is necessary and needs to be handled correctly.

Managers need to question the member of staff carefully to obtain all the facts and to record their findings in full. They will then need to understand the legal implications of words and actions.

This course is aimed at managers, team leaders and supervisors with responsibility for handling discipline and grievance issues. This course will also look at the worst-case scenario, the Industrial Tribunal, to reinforce the importance of keeping accurate records.

Please note, this course can be delivered as virtual instructor led training (VILT), face to face, or it can be delivered with a blend of both formats. We will customise the content and duration in line with your learning and development requirements.
