You can achieve anything you like in life, provided you don’t mind who gets the credit. This was a motto Ronald Reagan kept on his desk in The White House. The world is filled with champions: Usain Bolt, Roger Federer, Rory McIlroy to name but a few, but it is unlikely any of us could name their coaches. The most recognised forms of coaching have come from the sporting world but it is now recognised as the most effective talent management activity used by organisations to improve both the performance and motivation of their people. Increasingly, a coaching style of management is preferred. At GBS we are passionate about coaching because we know it contributes so much to organisational and individual success. This highly practical course has been designed to equip managers with the techniques and skills needed to coach their staff and become effective coaches thus enabling them to achieve higher standards of performance in the workplace.
