Course Overview
The Level 3 Award in Principles of Management and Leadership has been specifically designed for practising or aspiring managers to provide the skills and competencies to effectively supervise or manage a team so that clearly defined outcomes are achieved. Learners will develop the competency to set and monitor goals and objectives by providing instruction, direction and guidance and carry out day to day operational and project activities which are a key part of their role.

Progression pathway
Learners who successfully complete the Level 3 Qualification in Principles of Management and Leadership have a number of progression opportunities:
- Enhance your professional status by upgrading your CMI membership
- Progress to other qualifications at the same level (e.g. from Level 3 Award to Level 3 Certificate)
- Progress to other qualifications at the next level (e.g. from Level 3 Certificate to Level 4 or 5 Certificate)
- Apply to become a Chartered Manager
