Course Overview

Having the ability to influence and persuade others is one of the most crucial skills for any manager or leader – it’s what sets them apart from others, and provides a focal point for others to turn to during challenging times.

Employees working from home are now becoming increasingly common, so leaders and managers now require the ability to influence and persuade others from a remote setting with, or without, the ability to see the person they are interacting with.

Our Influencing and Persuading course is for those who are required to skillfully navigate online conversations to gain consensus from all parties.

You will gain the communication skills to communicate digitally by understanding your own influencing style and adapting it so that it translates positively in an online setting. You will also develop the skills to analyse the other person’s readiness to accept what is being proposed using a variety of tools and techniques suited to an online conversation.

Please note, this course can be delivered as virtual instructor led training (VILT), face to face, or it can be delivered with a blend of both formats. We will customise the content and duration in line with your learning and development requirements.
